Community Service is the opportunity Rotary clubs have to implement club projects and activities that improve life in the local community. Community Service is one of five Avenues of Service in a Rotary club. Glendale Sunrise Rotary Club members have been involved with Community Service projects since the club was chartered in 1988.

Separate "home pages" for major ongoing Community Service projects and significant projects are accessible from the menu on the left.

For examples of community service projects in earlier years See - Projects in Prior Years (menu on left).

How can you get involved? Review these projects and ask the Community Service Chairperson to put you in contact with the project chair. Have a project you would like the club to consider; discuss your ideas with the Community Service Chairperson.

Each year new Avenue of Service chairpersons are selected by the club president. For a list of all Avenue of Service Chairs in the current year, please visit the club's home page. Avenue of Serivce Chairs are listed in the menu on the left side of the club's home page.
