One. Of Rotarys oldest programs,started in 1923, open to high school students, including, children of Rotarisns
The objective is a cultural exchange, our district exchanges with 20 different countries.
Promote peace and understanding

Personal growth and development - learn better to face life's challenges.
We send children on an exchange, they return as young adults.
Involves 8,000 students from 80 countries, through the lens of Rotary

Requirements
Between 15 to 18 1/2, prefer Junior or senior year
Works with schools to arrange credits, plan ahead for online or summer school
SAT/ACT/AP. all can be completed online
Host families go through background check and youth protection
Summer
When we send students, we must accept inbound students. We are looking for host families. A great opportunity to talk about Rotary
Timing, for 10 to 12 months
Host families do not need to be Rotarians
Most students have 2 to 3 families
Club has a yout exchange counselor who is not a host family
Clubs pay $2,000 for expenses
Rob will Help student get enrolled,
They are expected to participate in Rotary
It's like a having another child in the house, provide food, transportation
They cannot drive. but they can sail a boat.
