- Announcements
- Denise Miller reminded the club of the wine tasting event occurring on September 14. The event takes place at Kim Villa's house and is a fundraising event for the club. All are welcome.
- Rick Dinger announced a Rotary fellowship event. The gathering will take place on October 14 at Glendale Community College to watch some Vaquero Football.
- Phil Kubel declared that the social media aspects of the club are up and running.
- He is looking for content from the membership
- He is willing to train anyone interested in helping maintain the club's social media tools
- Nancy Young made an announcement to RSVP to the Rotary Foundation's Meeting

- Reminded the club about the upcoming Glendale Arts Festival
- Reminded the club about the Rotary District Picnic on August 26
- Still need to decide on a name for the boat
- Painting party for the boat will be announced by Eric Hamilton
- Members must register themselves via the internet
- Nina Sonin asked about the parking situation for the picnic. Nina Crowe will follow up on inquiry.
- Made a call for rower volunteers
- The Sergeant-At-Arms, Jeanett Cordon, oversaw the collection of fines and acknowledgements
- Jeanett introduced the speaker, Tyler Wright, Preseident and CEO of the La Canada YMCA
- Explained the purpose of the YMCA - To Save Lives
- The 30 by 30 Plan
- The goal is to acquire an asset base of $30 million to serve 30,000? people by 2030.
- Jeanett Cordon oversaw the opportunity drawings
- President Nina Crowe adjourned the meeting
